Hello MyFFXI members, I really want to make MyFFXI grow and become well known to FFXI members as a way to connect online. I can't do this alone especially when I myself have retired from the game and have to work all day. I need someone who is an active member, who knows how to handle responsibilities and not take it for granted or abuse it, is helpful to members, and can help spread the word. I will only accept one new staff member for the moment. If you are interested in the position, please send me a message with the following: Name: Online Times Ever been staff at another site? What is ID Verified?
- Becoming ID Verified just proves that your profile represents you and your FFXI character and not an imposter. Becoming ID Verified proves that you are the actual player of the FFXI character here on MyFFXI. How do I become ID Verified?
- Log on to FFXI as your character and take a screen shot with the following info: "NAME on SERVER - www.myffxi.com/NAME" Where NAME represents your character name, and SERVER represents the server your character is on. You can take this screenshot either in game, or if you can't put chat screen on your screenshot, post a note on the screen next to your character with the info. Why become ID Verified?
- The benefit of becoming ID Verified is it proves your identity to anyone looking at your MyFFXI profile. Some people don't care, some people do. This is an OPTION to anyone who wants to do it. MyFFXI offers a special "ID Verified" logo next to those who become verified, and an increase in space and inbox messages. Who do I send my screenshots to?
- Me! Send it through MyFFXI or send it to my e-mail! Webmaster@myffxi.com. If you send it to my e-mail, send me a message on here saying you did.

I found the error causing the site to run slow. Does the site seem much faster now?
So seems like my host can't support this site no more which means I need to get a dedicated server for this site. This site will runs so much better and it will only be better for me and everyone here. Only problem is its going to be an extra expense on me, not really a cheap one either. Oh well I don't care I can't stand when this site is slow, nothing frustrates me more. So hopefully soon I will get the server and the site will be down for a couple of days while I port everything over... just a heads up. No data will be lost.

Sorry everyone for having to restart like this but I think this is for the best. I have changed everything up because the old MyFFXI was very buggy. I think everyone will enjoy the new MyFFXI and enjoy the better and more features offered! Don't forget to let me know if you have any questions, need help, or have some ideas you would like to see on MyFFXI. Don't forget to let your online friends and linkshell members know about MyFFXI. -Youssef
