If I never level NIN again it will be too soon. Srsly. Okay? Dunes party ( I know I know, but still) was going okay since there was 2 nin and we were duo tanking with me pulling, but as soon as she left, things went to crap. Got a war to replace her so I thought everything would be alright. But oh no. No. THIS war informs "I'm not used to being WAR." after I get killed. See, the fishy we were fighting got a nice juicy screwdriver off that left me with critical hp. Sati (Who was PLing us) couldn't get cure off in time and miss war lady who hadn't voked since she got there... didn't voke. So here I am pulling and tanking on NIN at 17 and she doesn't even bother to voke when shadows are down.

And that I'm not used to being war excuse? Totally bogus. She was WAR18 with no support job. If she wasn't used to being war, pray tell exactly what was she used to being? Hmm. Actually... considering her pansy attitude towards voke, I'd almost say she was actually playing WAR the way most WAR play it now. -.- Anyway I finally got 18 and a level to grow on and I'm done with NIN forever. That's right. I refuse to level this job as long as people expect me to tank on it. The more I play it the more I'm convinced this job was never ever meant as  a tank job. Our tank jobs are obvious. SAM, WAR, PLD. Who the heck started this whole NIN tank junk anyways? Some silly narutard I'm sure... 9.9;

I need to get some gysahl bombs for chocobo racing. I'm sick of getting them used on me. Lately Jade's been finishing a lot of 2nds and 3rds because of them. I'm wondering if the shield item thingy would get used at the right time to prevent that if I equipped it, or if it would be better to fight fire with fire and get some of those bombs myself. Hmm... Waiting on my chance to race in circuit again right now.

Rughadjeen got 33 WAR. It's funny how even with a G. Sword I'm managing quite well as a tank. In fact I haven't had a pt where I was pure DD since I started him on WAR. Even in a pt with a pld, I ended up taking hate several times and keeping it.  And oh ma god, I have /MNK. I hope these ppl I'm partying with notice that. That /NIN is NOT the only sub for war. Counter + Dodge makes me very happy. Coupled with double attack, sometimes it looks like I attack 4 times on the mandies when I counter both of their attacks then get a double off myself. I could practically solo them. Later in the pt though when the SAMs started getting new gear, I started having hate issues when they'd WS because my damage was nerfed by defender. I had to start zerking to keep hate through damage alone. It worked well since we had a DNC that could help with the cures.

I love mah big sword :) Wonder if I can get away with it in PTs as PLD... :P
