Mah new chocobo just surpassed her papa in endurance. So now she has first class strength and endurance just like I was trying for on PureChaos till -someone- gave me some silly advice and I ended up tanking his endurance to try and teach him an ability and he never recovered after that. So I tried a different method and now I have a fast choco to race. PureJade got first place on a official race and netted me 3k tonight so I'm very happy with the birdie. And she's green 8D

Got NIN to 17 on Sillabub. It was a crazy dunes pt and I got 4 levels. This SAM fella brought a madfully skilled PL who was able to keep up with suicidal double pulls. I've never seen anything like it in Dunes. Of course, we had 2 DNC to help with healing. More and more I'm convinced that SAM is a good tank job. It seems like SAM and NIN have been mixed up by the player base for so long and no one is willing to take a step out and say hey, let the SAM tank and the NIN pull and debuff and backup tank. With all those SAM abilities, I just find it hard to believe they weren't meant to be a tanking sort of job when needed. And when you think about it (if you think about it) that sort of falls more in line with traditional Samurai anyways. Ninja were all about stealth and not being seen. Why would they want to protect a party from danger? Samurai were the ones with codes of honor and such. Like paladins of eastern lore or something, IMO.

Anyways! Been helping my cousin get his PLD AF and cap items. And then my game crashed. It's been doing that a lot lately. I even got a strange 'server protocol error' after one of them. I dunno... it's just bizarre.

20k to go to cap out DRG! :D I've been selling off some of my BRD gear in celebration of that. Been thinking of what job to level next. WHM seems logical because its my next highest job. But then I really like the look of SAM and it makes a good DRG sub... hmm. Or DNC... but then I'd have to do the NIN thing on Kyleet. And ew? I'd have to buy her Utsusemi: Ichi since I did the quest back when it was over a mil and sold it for that.

SAM is looking quite nice... indeed.

Maybe was windower but I wasn't using any plugins. It was just odd. Happened during the chocobo race and so I had to watch the same race over again. Anyway as long as your fine with not having abilities, getting first class strength and endrance is easy. When its a baby feed it carrot paste. Adolescent to adult 2 vomp carrot and a green. Set the care plan to walk around town then carry packages when its able. Walk the energy out of it every day. And it'll have first class str and end by day 45. I'm experimenting on sillabub to see what difference it makes feeding choco generic carrots and green instead of the expensive crap.

Haha funny you mention SAM being a great tank! The last few SMN pts i had, the sam tanked better than some NINs I've seen! SAM really needs to step up and tank, thier mad DD skills have been nerfed to mad WS speed lmao!
