I just had to face it. I can't afford Utsusemi: Ichi. Buying the scroll would cost everything I got pretty much. So, I hauled my 35 THF/WAR out to Giddeus for some serious necklace collecting. Stripping out my gear I had enough room for 20 of em. Meaning 10 trips to the cat burglar and back. Things were going fine at first because the place was deserted. But after my first trip, I get back and find all the yagudos being hoarded by a 75 WHM. No clue what she was doing either. Seemed like she was getting the necklaces to desynth for some reason.

Le sigh...

Well, I did have a search comment up. And being 35THF/WAR in a world where THF/WAR is not acceptable, I would assume anyone who saw that would know why I was there killing birdie men without prejudice. And yet...

I know when I'm farming stuff, I try my best not to take people's exp mobs. When I solo my own exp, I don't take other's exp mobs. It's just a serious PITA when inconsiderate blokes like that come along. I certainly can't compete with someone that high and with AoE power to boot. There were also a couple of low levels in there leveling up that I stayed away from. I'll bet this WHM chick took their exp mobs too... -.-

So now I'm just not sure what to do. It's pretty frustrating dealing with stuff like that. I don't even like leveling NIN. You know most people I talk to hate leveling it too. The fact that SO many people hate leveling this job and yet spend time doing it amazes me. The game is supposed to be fun, no? So why have we created such a /NIN only society? It's mind boggling. I seem to outdamage a THF/NIN anyday with my friendly beserk. Are we all THAT afraid to use our evasion bonuses that we have to hide behind shadows? XP

To NIN or not to NIN? Do I stick to THF/WAR for 2 more levels? But what if I want to take THF beyond Sub Job? Will DNC/MNK be acceptable till 37? Even though everyone and their granny starts subbing ol NIN at 20?
