leave my heart alone, i cant bear the touch
the thought of your lips, my poison to your kiss
oh, the idea of being in love, is just to much
to bear, i sleep to escape.

lost upon a rivers dream, floating away
down the stream, the water envelops my body
pulling me under into embrace, i struggle away
trying to deny my fate.

my love drowns in sorrow, the only life i know
sleep, dream another day away,
pretending that everything will be ok,
my gaurdian angel has left me in decay

take these pieces of a broken heart,
back where they came from. keep them
locked away for all eternity, never
let them see the light of day.

Only in dreams, do I hear you sing,
I hate it when you say you love me,
i fear to wake and face the coming day
knowing that i'll never see your face.

wash my blood from your hands,
forget the time we spent together,
i know youll be off better,
when im buried in the ground.
