Recently my ls helped one of our members farm the coffer key for his smn af feet and find the coffer, in the course of this adventure he died twice we all fought to save him but the 5 of us couldn’t kill everything fast enough. After, he made some comments about dying and we told him to get over it. The feeling we all had after was amazing, we had gone into danger’s house and snuck out with the prize! Now I say all of that to say this: ffxi is a game about and for adventurers not namby pambys! I mean why is it so hard to get help doing missions not all of us are members of a super sized ls so we can’t dip into that pool of ppl. There are so many ways to get exp in the game why are ppl afraid of dying and why only help ppl you know what’s wrong with being charitable? We are adventurers read the definition above. Some ppl say they are quitting because the game is boring well spice it up a bit stop just standing around Jeuno or Whitegate flapping your virtual jawbone. (even tho it is fun to catch up with ppl you haven't seen in a while) Go on an adventure get prepared have the right ppl (or even the wrong ppl) and get out there and adventure. I hate it when ppl say “wow that mission is too hard I’m not doing that again” its supposed to be hard if it wasn’t ffxi would suck. I’m just saying if your going to be an adventurer take a few risks besides its just a game…….right?
