FFXI & Life
Posted On January 24, 2008 08:42 AM by Paladin147
Ever hear stories about, finding love online, the girl friend who smashed there spouses console out of rage because there boy friends spend more time on a video game then they do on them, or even celebrites playing MMORPGs. Well it happens to be all true. Dave Chappelle and Robin Williams both admit to playing WoW and from people from there servers they happen to be some real WoW junkies lol but hey MMOs beat crack any day plus you don't see them on FFXI because come on there celebrites they dont have much time so they wanna do something simple as WoW, I mean FFXI is was more complexed then WoW (though wish we had some celebrites on FFXI..... FFXI > WoW). Though once you admit you play and MMO your considered a dork no matter who you are lol. You can be an Athelte, a Chairman for some Board, a Constuction Worker, a Model, a drug dealer lol or even a Celebrity, but if Chappelle can admit he's a WoW junkie then theres nothing to be ashamed of. So all of you who been hiding it let your secret out and show your dork pride lol (I might get San d'Orian Emblems to replace the Mercedes Emblems I have on my SL. 1 the San d'Orian logo looks cool and can be pulled of as a car logo, 2 it would look sexy on a black SL.).

Even though you can easily admit you enojy playing MMO's in your spare time, finding a spouse who has that same intrest maybe a challenge, The reason it might be a good idea to find a mate who's a serious gamer as you are because many stories for example at a university in Penn. (I can't remember which one), but there was a couple. The guy of the relationship was a serious gamer and at first the realtionship was going well until his girl friend was sick of the fact that he spends more time on his video games then he did on her. So his girl friend got together with other girls who had video game playing boy friends and band together to get rid of there console. I think you know what the reaction all the guys had when they found out there XBOX or the PS3 was totaled. Even though I live in the Washington DC Metro Area, finding a girl with the same intrest is impossible, but if you can manage with one of those online relationships good for you if it makes you happy, though I could never do it. If you can't find a mate who loves video game or play while their sleeping lol. Just remember if you do have a spouse that doesnt play video games please remember this disclaimer left by Square Enix before you start playing FFXI.

“A Word to out Players

Exploring Vana’diel is a thrilling experience.
During your time here, you will be able to talk, join and adventure with many other individuals in an experience which is unique to online games.

That being said we have no desire to see your real life suffer as a consequence.

Guys if you do find out your girl friend destoried your console espially if it was a PS3 (which you spend 600 dollars, 3 days in line waiting in the rain and skiped work or school for lol) please reframe from caping her ass lol.

I was never gamer, by any means. while my ex-hubby 'wasted his life away' gaming, I was putting myself through college.  The next boyfriend I got, bought and XBOX and I was concerned that he would spend all of his time on it.  Then I found ffxi and we started playing together.  We broke up an I kept playing. Found another boyfriend who happend to be a HUGE gamer (closet gamer) and lost girlfriends because of it so he was glad I was a gamer.  Now, if I could just teach him how to clean up after himself ... hmm .... *sigh*
