Normally I'm a stay at home mom who takes care of everything around the house while playing video games or drawing. I recently was asked to place a competitive bid for painting an office.
Heck I could use a little extra cash so why not.
I went to the site, took all my measurements, submitted pricing, was approved submitted colors was approved, went out last night and bought all of the supplies when all of the sudden today the owner of the company isn't sure as to what color he really wants!!! /fume.
Here I am, with 15 gallons of white paint that has a slight blue tinge to it so it won't make you feel snow blind in an office, and 3 gallons of dark sapphire blue paint that was originally requested to go around to bottom half of the walls in their conference room and call center. I MADE SURE that the dark blue paint EXACTLY MATCHED the blue in the company logo.
Heck I have already informed my sky ls that I won't be able to attend any camps this weekend due to work, but now EVERYTHING is on hold. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why! WHY! WHY!!!!! Do people have to change their minds after all supplies are already bought and everything has been scheduled?!? I mean come on! They have their own guys re-running all wiring to make sure it will be out of the way when things are painted, they have staff moving desks and getting thing prepped for paint. But at the last minute it becomes, "Well I don't know if we really want the office painted. I know it looks like crap and all but it's just an office." HELLO!!!! Professional apperance here! You have customers that will be coming into your place of business and it's OKAY for you to have paint flaking off of the walls along with tons of scuff marks from the UPS deliveries.... I don't think so!
Ok, I'm done ranting for now. I just hope that they figure things out before I re-schedule other projects into the window that they have been scheduled for.
