Hey gang!

Well, long story short: The fan gave out on my laptop, and it burnt out some of the yummy innards of my machine; including my screen and hard-drive (unrelated, my compact disc drive stopped working). 

Anyhow, fortunately for me : I was able to make a full recovery.  I'm now working on a brand new laptop with all my old files in tact (via a little surgery with a Serial-ATA cable.)
