So people have been busy in the ls with any number of things and the Sea God turnouts have been lacking the last two runs. This wasn't seen as a problem as we have been neglecting Jailer of Temperance for long enough, and as stated on wiki and other sources it can be duo'd if need be. We had 12 ppl at the start of this run so we felt confident. The tough part of this Jailer is getting it to pop if you have people unfamiliar with the zone. The mob has 5 possible placeholders, one in each of the race towers in Hux'zoi, one of those delightful spinning pots. An ideal situation to pop this thing is to have a soloer or a team at each tower, and keep the rest of the alliance at the hume tower so they can get to whichever the cur might pop in a timely fashion. Well Rdm or blm/rdm would be the soloer and we only had 3 in all so we had 3 teams. After killing placeholders 2 times the LS leader states that the pop changes every game day and that it has to be in either the elvaan or the galka tower at this point I look at the clock and it's 17;00, and I'm like oh great so we have to maneuver safely to the other towers before the game day ends.
At this point the alliance had shrunk down to 8 ppl due to the late hour and the ls leader was taking her team to the galka tower and we were to head over to the elvaan. Well after some of the usual bs in Sea with aggro and such we get there and it's 22:00. The rdm and I have 3 mobs in front of the placeholder all Eo'grahs. We're like damn...of course they are all in aggro mode right now, no sooner do I say that they all change to ball form and we are able to pull the placeholder. The clock is ticking and we have our Placeholder down to 5% then I see on the ls chatlog "Jailer of Temperance!"
It popped in the galka tower where the other 6 of the alliance were. So the rdm and I leave the East and have to walk all the way around, up the taru tower, down an elevator and finally get there. The moment I got off the elevator, I see that my friends have all wiped and then a giant turqoise pot named Jailer of temperance comes and kills me (another weird hate thing from sea). We zombie the thing for a few, recover, try again. This time it was a pushover it seemed. I'd say over the course of the fight I did 25% of the damage with Quick draws as it bypassed any damage immunities the thing might have had at the moment. So..we kill it with 8. Full drops although we just wanted the first virtue. No one was lotting temperance torque or the axe, I end up with the axe...yay 1 less spot in my MH. All in all fun fight. That is all. Good day.
