Yesterday was a pretty good day. Started off by signing up for a C2 race, then went to try the stupid goddamn chocobo minigame again. After about another hour of playing it, I somehow managed to win with 38 chocobos. I still have no idea how I did it; I wasn't doing anything different than any of the countless other times. Stupid game. >.>; But at least I have my HQ swimsuit now. I put it on my mannequin for until I need it for either a warp to Purgonurgo Isle, or leveling some low job. Anyway, since that had taken just long enough, I went and picked up my winnings for the C2 race, which turned out to be 50k (yay for 1st place!). With that, I decided I had enough gil to go buy a Ziska's Crossbow finally. So long, 500k. :( From there, I went to do some Campaign, and eventually hit 74 and got some buffer. :3 Yay for the nigh-invincibility that is THF with Utsusemi: Ni! I went to the tree to solo some skillups before Nyzul. Though I guess technically it wasn't solo, since I took out my (level 68) NPC, but oh well! I was actually getting solo chain 3 (a couple times in a row), even though I was fighting mostly Ts, with a couple EMs thrown in here and there. Skillups were decently fast too, as you can see with this one crab:



I ended up getting 5 dagger levels (recapped), 1 marksmanship level, 1 evasion level, and 1 parrying (!) level before I ran out of Bloody Bolts and had to warp to buy more and get ready for Nyzul. Nyzul itself was pretty uneventful. We did floor 71-75 for Trippy's disc, then floor 61-70 for Nugo's disc. On Thursday we'll be doing Nugo's 71-75, then 3 runs of floor 80 hopefully. We also ran across some fun NMs:





We actually ran across Serket twice, but both were on lamp floors, so we didn't get to fight him. :/ Other NMs we ran across included Odqan, Sharp-Eared Ropipi, Swamfisk (a couple times), and Dune Widow. Of those, we only fought Odqan and Swamfisk. And of course, as usual, none of the ??? items appraised to the NM's actual drops.
