Was helping my friend do Windurst 6-1 yesterday, and as usual, he said something friggin' hilarious. XD



Anyway, yesterday's Nyzul started off horribly. Trippy was causing a bunch of drama by being crazy late. He was doing ZNMs with his LS, and they started one about a half hour or so before our start time. Now, I don't think I'm alone in that I'd be telling them "Guys, I have Nyzul static at 8, I hafta go by then, dead NM or not." This static has been going on for longer than he's even been in that shell, after all. But no, he stays to help. Probably because he wanted something from it. >.>; I asked him which NM it was, and apparently it was the tier III Mamool NM. So he ended up being an hour and a half late. He apologizes saying that he "didn't expect a 2 hour ZNM." Bullshit; there is mention right on the wiki page about it that it is a long fight. A bit too late, we realized we could've just gotten a replacement DD and worked on catching Nugo's disc up, but oh well. We made a few jokes about things we were gonna do to MPK him during Assault (I actually carried out on mine; no Collaborator for him! :P), then got started.

This was not the end of our bad start, though. Oh no. Our very first floor, we get an 'Eliminate all enemies.' floor. And the first mob we pull? Friar Rush (the Bomb Core NM). He used Self-Destruct at about 35% HP (Trippy Weapon Bash'ed it but it went off anyway), and it killed everyone but Nycon and Lec. -.- I already knew it wasn't likely we'd recover from that enough to finish the run, and I was right. We ended up finishing that floor, and getting everyone unweakened. But then the next floor, we got 'Eliminate enemy leader.', who of course was a Chariot. After him we just exitted. Second run, we similar bad luck. We got an 'Eliminate specified enemies.' floor, and it was Puddings (we get them more than any other enemy group, I swear). On top of that, we got a lot of aggro. Part of that was me... I didn't feel like sneaking and invising just to run across half a room, so I figured I'd just run and aggro the Rampart I saw in the way. Well, as soon as I rounded the corner, I saw there was also a Draugar, and I aggroed that too. And then Lec tried to cure us and magic aggroed Friar Rush (who seems very attracted to us, we saw him every single run). We managed to get past that floor barely, though. And what was the next floor? "Eliminate all enemies.' again.... and who should show up but our old friend Friar Rush AGAIN (that's right, 2 floors in a row with him), AND our dear friend Roc (biggest time wasting mob we've come across so far). We ended up exitting early again that run. Our third run, thankfully, went mostly smooth. Really, it was smooth up until the boss, which was this motherfucker:



(That picture is actually from a different run, but no matter!) Thankfully though, we had a little over 10 minutes to kill him, as we'd been fast climbing up. Trippy was all whiny because Nugo apparently carried out his revenge on Trippy as well; he used Pianissimo and gave him a Carol. XD Trippy was all pissed and talking about how we almost lost (even though we didn't), and how we need to not screw around on bosses, but we were ignoring him, because we finally got Nyc's Askar hands! :D No more floor 60! :D :D :D

After Nyzul, I got a Retrace from Trippy and got to work getting my THF to 73, since it was very close (like under 3k tnl). I got 73 and a buffer for it, then headed out to Boyahda to solo some EM Steelshells to recap my skills, and get some NPC exp. Sadly, since it was JP primetime (or close enough to it), the place was absolutely full. I managed to grab a few EMs and solo them (very easy, I love it ^^) though, and got 1 evasion level and 2 dagger levels. I'll be logging back in to continue that once maintenance is over.
