We were scheduled to do Dynamis-Buburimu last night but so many people showed up that the leader changed it on the fly to Jeuno because she didn't want to turn like 20 people away. You know, I thought that was pretty considerate of her personally, but leave it to the endgame crowd(tm) to turn it into a soap opera. Suddenly people started logging on the shell that I've never seen at the dreamland runs or even seen at all for that matter. They start having hissy fits because they notice we are in Dyna-Jeuno. I mean what the heck people. If you're going to contribute to a shell, why not show up at 7:30? The only thing I can figure is that they knew that in the dreamland worlds we farm more for AFv2-1 and so they didn't bother to show cause they wouldn't have a shot at their relic pieces?
I dunno. Whatevs. They acted like it was the last Dynamis-Jeuno EVAR.
Besides if they had come they woulda just died. We wiped in front of the palace. It was fun too. I even got screenshots of the huge gob train coming from the AH, and we're all meandering around in front of the palace. Then the next screenshot: TOTAL CARNAGE'D!!! I'll post em later.

But we recovered and got the win. And I got my relic hands! :D We didn't farm though because we were short on black mages for sleepings after the win. So we tried it with 2, wiped again then called it a night. I wish Sati could have been there but he had to drive.
When Sati did get on, we decided to level SAM and DRK with my cousin's BLM. He managed to put together a party but I had my reservations. A few minutes into the pt when the "I'm Tank!!" Tarutaru WAR died we realized we should have probably just trio'd somewhere. Well, Sati ended up tanking on his DRK for the most part. With me voking it off him. So I guess we kind of Duo tanked and played keep-away with the Tarutaru. Seriously, this guy couldn't take 3 hits from the lizards, and a goblin rush would one shot him. And yet he insisted that he was tanking even when I offered to do so.
Be amazed! For our duo SAM + DRK tanking (with 2 BLM/WHMs healing because the SCH DC'd, never to return) actually worked. Until the "I'm Tank!!" Tarutaru somehow missed the IT Goblin ambusher staring him in the face while the rest of the party took a few steps back. Agro occured. It was messy.
The Taru died like 5 times that night. In the words of my eloquent husband, "And a Taru dream is shattered."
