I was in a party a couple of days ago with a whm like that.  I was paladin without a refresher.  The tank I replaced was a war/nin.  We were fighting imps and the whm rarely healed.  When she did it was always a cure V even when you were only missing 200 hp.  And I don't think she ever bought the spell silena.  She never used it.  On one pull, the whole party wiped (we aggroed another imp while fighting the first one) except for the whm.  She never got touched and never ran; just stood there.  Her excuse?  "I have a 6 month old son and I'm going to go afk a lot to take care of him and if you don't like it then that's too bad."  WTF are you doing playing a game, especially as a healer, if you have an infant to take care of?!?  Don't seek a party if you know you're going to be afk a lot.  Campaign or beseiged.  That's part of the reason why they're there.   ~.~  So yeah.  I can relate.

As for the being afk while seeking, I've done that a few times.  Usually though it's short afks like doing laundry, wc, putting kids in bed, starting dinner.. fairly quick afk things. 

Eh. Why quit because other people act like idiots?   Just take note of their name and never party with them again. Oh and be sure to tell your friends who they are. And your LS mates. And strangers you pass by at the sigil/sanction/signet npc. Consider leaving messages in your bazaar message. Or plant a nice mistell in say about how stupid they are at the AH in Whitegate, Jeuno or outside the MH in Whitegate. Well, that always made me feel better about it anyways. :P

Though honestly, I don't even bother to merit in parties anymore because of the TP burn, lolwhattank, attitudes in those. Campaign gets merits fast enough for me without having to depend on morons. Idly, why didn't you leave the party? That's what I would have done. ^^;

Well I dont mind a PL because I'm a smn, I have one (kyo) to help me level on diabolos because its impossible for a SMN to main heal and play its own role properly. You cant expect a SMN to use hastega and then cure, you loose over 250 exp from hastega and one cure III right there, and you wont even be halfway cured at lvl 60 lol.

And as for your PT, yeah I have to deal with a WHM like that. I just let him kill them and shake my head. I'm a support healer, im not going to switch jobs with him cause he has nothing to offer other than his cures. The guy is 61 and dosent even have cure V, how the hell do you even bare WHM w/o cure V? I had sams that go "stfu im a 75 thf i know how to sata" but complain they dont have enough voke to sata right. Learn how to break it up people! There is a reason they're seperate abilities to utilize it to diffrent potentials.

Gosh sometimes people can be dumb enough, ugh I think I want to quit now too lol

Those who /need/ a PL don't know how to play.

DONT BE SO ANGRY!!!! there are stupid players out there...or players who dont even know how to play.  Those are the players that got PL'd all the way to like 60...

sometimes i wonder how a majority of the players out there get  to 75...
