Blog Entry: <font face="comic sans ms" size=2>Don't really remember what order stuff happened in, so I'll just mention stuff as it comes to me. I've been wanting to level SAM for awhile now, but 2 things have been holding me back: a lack of Okotes/desire to camp them, and lack of a Soboro/desire to set up a run to get one. Well, the other day I decided if I just got Okotes, I could at least level to 50 and do the AF quests, then work on getting a Soboro. So I went to camp this mofo: <img src=http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/Kyrial2/livejournal/meedeggi.jpg> Camped him all night one night, and saw 4 spawns. The first one was claimed by someone else, but I got the next 3. No Okotes tho, only 3 Impact Knuckles. ;; After that I just said screw it, and decided to try and save up enough gil to buy the non-ex ones. I ended up buying Horomusha Kote instead, though. They were signifigantly cheaper, and the only difference is 5 less attack, but 5 more evasion. Good trade, imo. So I started leveling SAM. I took it to 38 with Campaign Ops (Slaughterhouse III in a PT = win), then got a PT and managed to hit 40 with about 1k buffer and quested the AF katana. Then I got another PT the next day and managed to get to 43. :o Nyzul assault on Thursday was short. Nugo didn't make it, so we had Nyosan come on the first run as THF, while I went WHM. We got Cerberus (x.x), but he dropped an Askar Korazin! It went to Nycon. :) The next run, Nyo left to go be whipped by his g/f (lulz), so Claus played BRD for us and I went THF. Again we got Cerberus, and this one went much worse. We damn near wiped; I actually survived with 3 HP at the end. XD But, he dropped another Askar body! That one went to Trippy. Now we just need 1 more for Nugo and we can move on to Floor 100! :o After that 2nd run we just called it for the night, since Nugo was the only one who still needed a drop from Floor 80, and he wasn't on. Tonight was Dynamis-Buburimu. It was pretty fun. We got the win (my first Dreamlands win!), and pretty decent drops. On the Efts, we actually got 2 Valor Capes IN A ROW: <img src=http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/Kyrial2/livejournal/2valorcapes.jpg> We also got a DRG hands -1 from the crabs, a BLM hands -1 from the efts, and a NIN belt from the bunnies. These fuckers didn't drop anything but currency... <img src=http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/Kyrial2/livejournal/nightmaredhalmels.jpg> ...but they were amusing in their own way. After the dhalmels we only had about 5 minutes left, but we tried to take out some mandies. Funny enough, of the 7ish we killed, THREE of them dropped BRD cape! The first one, someone managed to get. The second one, I'm not sure if anyone got it in time. The third one dropped literally as we were getting kicked out. XD I can't wait for the update on Monday!
